Despite how busy and occupied you may feel with your full-time job, there is always room to accomplish your personal goals and make time for what is truly important to you.

I am the Administrative Assistant for The Fitness Center and Athletics Department at Sauk Valley Community College. In my short time being here, I have taken on a number of roles to help out wherever I can.

My strongest quality is the ability to be versatile and help those around me with whatever they may need.  As a part of my job, I assist the Athletic Director with all things athletic related. I also supervise and delegate our student work studies. I work alongside the athletic coaches and officials to ensure each team is set up for success in their competitions.

Having such a major involvement with a variety of tasks at work, it inspired and motivated me to create my own business. I own a crafting business. When I started my business, I did not anticipate it to reach the level of popularity it has.

Since starting my business, I have participated in multiple craft show and have created a variety of custom work. I sell a variety of different things, for example Sublimation Products to name a couple T-shirts and Tumblers, Epoxy Tumblers along with a lot of other custom epoxy work people want done. I make decals, signs, car freshies, car coasters, ornaments, hand towels, and to much more to name.

I am hoping to expand the business and bring in a lot more to offer my customers. As a result of stepping out of my comfort zone to create my business, I have since gained the courage to try to accomplish things I never imagined for myself.

Work and business aside, I am a very family-oriented person. I enjoy time shared with my family. I am a proud mother of two and have an amazing fiancé. Despite my day-time commitments, my family remains to be my top priority. We enjoy tons of outdoor activities and making memories as a family. Some of the things we like to do for fun are four-wheeling, camping and fishing. In the colder months we still like to find fun activities to participate in such as bowling, rollerblading, sledding, and visiting with family.
